TEACHER OF DANCE`

Required for September 2008, an enthusiastic, dynamic, talented and committed teacher to join our mutually supportive staff at this successful 11 to 18 school of 1400 students. We have Specialist School Status as an Arts College, and are at the forefront of many national initiatives. The school will be re-opening in September 2009 as a 21 st Century (new build) Centre of Learning, using ‘state of the art’ technology to support teachers and learning.

We are looking to appoint a full time dance specialist (temporary in the first instance until August ‘09. You will need to be passionate, creative and show initiative. Opportunities will be given to teach across key stages 3, 4 and 5. This post offers an outstanding opportunity to join a successful dance department.

Support for new staff and NQTs is particularly strong within an IIP framework.
